Polymer Innovations has just been invited to join Pinterest.

We have never been known to ignore an invite... so we have just finished creating some boards & been busy pinning our stuff all over the place!

Pinterest you say?.... What is Pinterest?

Job Title: Polymer Innovations Technical Sales Engineer

Department: Sales

Reports To: Polymer Innovations Operations Manager

Supervisory responsibility: N/A

Purpose: As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will combine technical knowledge with sales skills. To ensure your clients' and your own Company's needs are met, you'll liaise regularly with other sales personnel, and colleagues from other departments such as Research and Development, Production, and Senior Company Managers.
You will consistently provide excellent customer service as well as represent the client’s needs and goals within the Company to ensure quality. Building strategic relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education.

2. Manage and execute lead generation activities, establishing new and maintaining existing long term relationships with customers

3. Engage with clients to ascertain and define their requirements. Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs.

4. Use technical expertise and that of the R & D section along with the Operations Manager, to scope out the required technical solution. Solving client problems and helping in the design of custom made products.

5. Develop, revise and ratify proposed solutions in conjunction with Polymer Innovations Pty Ltd’s technical experts.

6. Raise quotes summarizing the business benefits and how these meet the client’s requirements together with costs for work.       Negotiating tender and contract terms.

7. On receipt of orders liaise with the Operations Manager, who will implement production schedules and allocate work, to convey the client’s business imperatives and requirements.

8. On receipt of larger, more complicated, orders liaise with the R & D section and the Operations Manager to ensure the project is completed to quality, time and cost requirements.

9. Offering after-sales support services.

10. Providing training and producing support material for other members of the sales team.

11. Coordinating Sales projects and meet regular sales targets

12. Support Marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other Marketing events.

General Administration

13. Administering client accounts, recording and maintaining client contact data. Analyzing costs and sales.

14. Contribute to the planning, implementation and review of strategies, maintain sales activity records and reports and follow up for Management. Recommend process improvements where applicable.

General

15. Adhere to all Company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.

16. Contribute to the planning, monitoring and review of team and Company performance goals and targets.

The 'New' New Online Store!

The Polymer Innovations Online Store has recently received some long overdue enhancements to make your online store buying experience more user friendly, informative & streamlined.

We might be jumping the gun a little bit... because there are a few bits n' pieces to be finalised but it is already a big improvement on the 'Old' New Online Store unleashed last year!

So what's changed...
A new logo in the header saying 'Online Store' has been added.
A lighter 'blue balls' favicon has been added to contrast the darker 'blue balls' on the website.

Custom made blue buttons have been added throughout the site, plus the footer menu has been enhanced with more options.

New Year! Newsletter!

A new year has come around which means New Years resolutions & new to do lists.

On our to do list was other lists... namely email lists & subscription lists for our new New Year, Newsletter!

After much hard work & frustration we found a little furry friend to help, a clever little monkey called 'Freddie' at Mailchimp.

Why am I smiling you ask?
Because I'm not wearing any pants!

'Freddie' is a great help, sorting through old databases & contact lists from years gone by... checking for stuff like valid addresses & duplicates.

He doesn't even take a break at morning tea!

Freddie is a professional he does everything by the book & he hates sending spam emails ...he says "They just ruin a persons day, Eeep!"

So we endeavour not to spam anyone... only those that subscribe or provide us with their contact details for further correspondence at a later time.

New Logo, New Motto, New Website... New Innovations!

Polymer Innovations is happy & proud to announce the unveiling of it's new logo, new motto, new website & a whole new range of innovative polymers products available online for the first time ever!

There are now 15 product ranges online that can assist with horticulture, agriculture, mining, gardening, sporting, environmental issues & much much more...

This has been a work in progress for the past couple of months. Firstly getting our new logo redesigned, making it cleaner & simpler but still maintaining our iconic 'blue balls' in the logo.

The logo was designed by Kathy @ On Fire Design.
Kathy also designed a style guide that outlines the best fonts, colours & styles for us to use in the future. This style was then applied to the new site.
Thankyou Kathy for everything!

Our new motto "Empower Your Environment' was created by our Managing Director & founder Andrew Evans.
The new motto conveys our ability & that of the client to overcome water related problems via our unique products to empower their environment.

That environment could be the natural environment, the corporate environment, the community environment, the entertainment environment or even just your environment at home in the backyard!

The new website is still a work in progress but is fully functional (fingers crossed!) & already superior to the old site.

The store is also operational so now you can purchase anything from our full product range directly from the site.
The usual store features are still present & payments can be made in a variety of ways to national & international customers.

The website was built by Bruce @ On Fire Design (with a little bit of help from yours truly).
The online store was built by Mick @ Zentail (also with a little bit of help from yours truly, b))

Both the site & store look fantastic, we hope you agree.
