Our SAP range reduces damage to the surrounding environment & removes hazardous material from the work area that can be caused by mud, coal slurry or coal sludge.

SAP HPF (High Performance Fines) & HD (Heavy Duty) absorbs large quantities of water present in mining, construction, roadways & other water affected areas. Muddy water that is too thick to pump or too watery to shovel up, can be thickened or solidified quickly by adding SAP HD & HPF allowing for fast & easy removal.

In mining SAP HPF & HD is designed for critical applications where production is affected by water based slurries. Recovered waste can be transported to the surface on conveyors without extended periods of downtime or reduction in productivity.

SAP HPF contains smaller polymers for quick, targeted removals of water ingress.
SAP HD is generally more suited for larger scale instances of sludge to be removed.
However varying conditions occur all the time & the correct SAP for each customer is determined on a case by case basis.

GENERAL APPLICATION RATE INFORMATION
Smaller Scale: Pails

1. Easy Pour Pails: Designed for application directly into affected area. 
2. 1-2kg SAP per m³ of slurry/mud.
3. Calculate volume of affected area to determine quantity of product required.
4. Remove lid from pail or drum and discharge into several accessible areas keeping upwind of discharge point and as close to the slurry as practicable.
5. Mix SAP through water affected area.
6. Push solidified spoil into affected area that still requires treatment then mix in evenly
7. Remove waste using loader or shovel.

Larger Scale In Mining: Bulk Bags

1. Application as above.
2. Requires at least 2 people & a loader or pump.
3. Reclaim waste using loader & dump on conveyor belt or into cut through.
